Firstplanet begins with the first goal

The super platform created by Gianfranco Bortolotti laeves the first track to a main label of Media Records Evo. The world of discography changes radically, now

Firstplanet really starts with big first result. The platform created by Gianfranco Bortolotti provides the first track to a main label of Media Records Evo. From this amazing stargate, which acts as a filter of the quality of the songs that come from all over the world DJs and producers, newcomers and professionals, has passed e promoted on upper level “Xpander”, the brand new international Ciro Parcheri, an artist that lives and works in Glasgow and specialized in trance music.

MAI (Music Advance Interface aka Music Artificial Intelligence), a Firstplanet automated system, thanks to its algorithm created by admixture by the ingenious act Filippo Lazzarini, has received, analyzed and forwarded the song in question to Neurals Records, the infamous dj trance label of A&R Mario Piu. That says: “Let’s talk about a vision and a very important goal, the future of dance music and not only: the track sent to me is really strong. This algorithm, managed and supported as said by artificial intelligence, will be our new weapon for the conquest of the market and for the search for new emerging talents”.

Gianfranco Bortolotti, Firstplanet stargate creator, supports and highlights the peculiarities of the entire platform: “In a changing world and in which we must get used to living with bot, AI and blockchain, this is the first step in the innovation needed to revolutionize. It is the strong and clear signal that we will no longer miss out on artificial intelligence (with obviously unavoidable possible consequences) that will help us manage complex operations and anticipate them the evolutions, and we are the first in the world to do this in music”.

Claxixx label has been launched with “Tuareg” (George V Remix) by BXR Legacy

Another brand-new label for a nostalgic futuristic sound from Media Records Evo

Newly-created Claxixx (Media Records Evo collective) starts out with a BXR classic 2000 remake: “Tuareg” by Ricky Le Roy. The exoteric atmospheres only remain from the original track. Everything else has been smartly reprocessed by the Greek dj George V on a captivating tech house background. This is the imprinting from BXR Legacy collective, a group of music entities sharing the same interests or working together to achieve a common objective.

In the words of Gianfranco Bortolotti, Media Records Evo CEO and BXR Legacy A&R: “Claxixx is a nostalgic label looking at the future: it’s an outright contradiction of rulez. It starts out with ‘Tuareg’ release to explore new horizons of success. BXR Legacy is an avant-garde label ignoring the past and with a need to experience its sound. There will be mostly new tracks, but that may not be just now”.

Claxixx is different from cooperatives, as they do not necessarily focus on economic benefits or saving. BXR Legacy brand also refers to a whole different category: human music producers and visionary elements. For business purposes, a collective is defined as a decentralized or majority-based decision-making style. BXR Legacy also reaches out to share and exercise biz and social power and to take decisions on a consensus-driven and equal basis.
“Our crew is a group of people who live together in some kind of dwelling or residence: the living area is organized for their specific purposes. Our artists, including musical staff, are typically individuals with the same drive to produce and provide evidence of art as a group. In terms of size, these groups may include a few people up to thousands of members”.
The resulting artistic styles are extremely different. Their drive may be based on common or individual purposes. Some collectives are simply made of people who have fun to play together with no other goal or motivation.
“A worker legacy is a type of horizontal collectivism; business work as a partnerships of individual professionals who consider each other as equal and they are rewarded for their expertise. The working collective is conceived to reduce costs for final users and ensure proper profitability for partners. This is done by eliminating operating costs on multi-levels of management”.

Tarantula Music debut with “Tribal Jungle” / “Analog Foot” by Frame

From the Media Records Evo legacy world break a brand new track on a brand new bass music label. It’s time to Frame

Tarantula Music (a member of Media Records Evo group) breaks with a double release “Tribal Jungle” / “Analog Foot” from Frame world. The Italian producer loves drum&bass and footwork mood. Both tune has a biggest sub bass. “Tribal Jungle” is a groovy tune which refers to the origins of the jungle music but with an optic towards the future. “Analog Foot” it’s a half tempo funky groove whit an undoubted footwork attitude.
“I’m just finish a EP on the mighty The Dreamers Recordings titled ‘Natural Sound’. Actually, I don’t have an identified specific style. I like to play with my instruments and have great time. Just music. Just drum&bass”.
How do you feel about the collaboration with Media Records?
“I’m feeling happy I love new project who involved Italian electronic artists”.
How do you think the sound could evolve and be played during big live events?
“I think the sound evolve in the years but the past is important. In this time the electronic music is like to be appreciated, but there’s some stereotypes that we can’t recognize. My goal is to experiment and make music. Have fun and improve at the same time”.
Is there an artist that inspires you or that you particularly admire?
“There’s a lot of artist that inspires my music. The best three artist that I admire at the moment is Alix Perez, experimental and big tunes, for his innovate sounds for the best deepest tracks. But obviously Noisia, Roni Size, Break, Fracture, Rockwell, Icicle, Commix, SpectraSoul are the best”.
Tribal Jungle is a drum & bass and jungle that remind you ’90s sounds?
“Yes, and old school breaks and big chord too. ‘Analog Foot’ is an halfstep tune with a futuristic happy mood”.

Frame is a dj and electronic Italian music producer. He has always been in love with bass music, making his first steps by mixing vinyls, then becoming interested in the world of electronic production by attending the CDM School. In 2015 he made his first release on Singularity Audio with “Bad Money EP” and later with “Intense EP”. In the same year, producer and master Luca Fronza performs a remix to his song Djungle feat. MC Koflah. After this two minimal roller EPs he released for Tesseract Recordings, Auraya Recordings and Delta9 Recordings. Always looking for more funk and innovative sound, some of his unpublished tracks were played on RinseFM in the weekly showcase of the UK label Diffrent by artists such as Dexta, Mauoq, Sense MC. In July he was releases an halftempo footwork EP, “Natural Sound”, on The Dreamers Recordings, supported by Doc Scott, Bachelors of Science, Random Movement, Muffler, Silence Groove, Conduct, GLXY, Chromatic and many more.

Luca Antolini & Eddy Rave with “Your Soul” on Neurals

Much love for the most hard trance atmospheres now gives magical results on the Media Records Evo trance label

The dj and the Italian producer Luca Antolini knows Eddy Rave about twentyeight years ago. The duo has produced a really interesting production. After being supported, published and reviewed by Giuseppe Ottaviani, Andrea Mazza and many more djs, they landed on Neurals Records, the Mario Piu label belonging to the Media Records Evo group, a legacy and family for who love music.
Always engaged in the trance front, Antolini explains that he is still interested in all kinds of electronics. “Let’s say the trance always affects every style I’ve made”.
For months collaborating with Eddy Rave. How are you?
“We are doing so many beautiful things. And we’re just beginning. We always smell with psy trance, trance uplifting, electronic sounds in general. We like to experiment and venture”.
Would you make a back2back or would you share the console with Eddy Rave?
“With Eddy I produce and, yes, I would make a nice live. He is also very good with machines and keyboards. After all, I would not have any problems with anyone, I always got along with everyone”.

Have you always loved the trance?
“Of course, from the early records with melodies in the late 80s and early 90s. In the times, however, I liked the various Mike Oldfield, Vangelis, Depeche Mode, Morricone, so much that they created trance worlds without even knowing it. Then, in the mid-90s, the meeting with Roland Brant, Gianni Parrini, Valez, DJ Panda and Ricci, and with my dream house dream, I was convinced that it was my world; without forgetting techno and progressive”.
How did you approach Mario Piu and discovered Neurals Records?
“I suggest ‘Your Soul’ and ‘One Vison’ to Mario and he both liked it. ‘Your Soul’ is a symbiosis between Eddy and me: we love to play the epic melodies enriched by strong and rights sounds influenced by other genres like psy trance or techno”.
If you listen to some of your hardtrance productions in the 2000s, you almost understand your fashionable anticipation of psy trance.
“The psy sound is very close to the low horse said in the thirties. Of psy I like the dynamics between chest and bass: when they leave, they are devastating together. But then all those ethnic vocals after a while become monotonous”.

Tarantula Music is born: the sound from the… bassement

From the Media Records Evo world a brand new label focused on the bass music: a 24/7 open lab

A Media Records Evo CEO Gianfranco Bortolotti explains the Tarantula Music birth and goals. Tarantula Music is a brand new label with the main target of the drum & bass movement and subgenres. “To keep a track of Media Records Evo’s positioning strategy in all segments of underground dance, we need a useful trademark for careful and disciplined search for new emerging trends across all the globe”.
Bite and poison are really effective in hitting the nerve of our body. Tarantula Music comes to spread the fever of bass music by listening to an endless and hypnotic dance music and born from the experience and selection of Media Records Evo stargate: Firstplanet.
The choice fell on Stefano Bosetti aka StefanoB, ’cause Gianfranco Bortolotti believes that he’s the best guy for spreading this sound. “It is the right man to hookup all such producers and also the most experienced promoter and festival organizer of the bass music scene”.
Many hip-hop and rap rap songs rule in bass music galaxy: the roots of most beatmakers are the same today: Tarantula Music will collaborate with Italo Music, a domestic branch of Media Records Evo. “The collaboration between A&R and producers of the various World of Media labels is a competitive advantage of our organization since the 1990s”.

StefanoB says, “I’m a dj, I started mixing in the late eighties when I was still a teenager: getting in touch with Media Records was something quite unique”. And today the dream is realized. “Tarantula Music is an idea born in 2015 and sees light only now. In Italy and in the rest of the world there are many real-world bass music, from jungle to drum & bass, but are often crumpled, unbolted. We need a new space to operate and promote different artists, both local and international”.
We will all soon “tarantulated”. “The thread leading dance to the origins of dance is the gathering, spasm and tribal rituals. The future of electronic music has so many pages to write and we will release with digital release and then maybe on vinyl so as to satisfy even the needs of maniac collectors. My task will be difficult: I listen on average over 150 promos a week and I will have no problems selecting the incoming proposals”.

StefanoB is a dj, producer and radio speaker in Brescia, Italy. He began mixing at the end of the eighties with acid house and techno trax going from funk and coming to evolve in the breakbeat scene that will give rise to jungle, drum & bass and finally the bass music. StefanoB has brought passion and expertise to the national movement and is also radio speaker for Radio Onda D’Urto (Brescia, Italy) and Future Sounds Radio (Bristol, UK). In addition to having experience in organizing various music events, he is also part of the Cockroach International Production’s cultural music association.
